dc.description | Over the last thre years, only 2% of the patients who require major eye surgery in Busia District have accessed it. This is attributed to lack of funds and other resources to cater for the waiting list of patients for major eye surgery. Alternative funding and an appropriate service provision approach are deemed to be a solution to the current situation. there is need therefore to investigate the different financing and costs involved in order to facilitate appropriate decission making on the alternative approach hence the reason for this study. | |
